CONCEPT LES ENFANTS DE GERMAINE

Our concept is born from a deep post-Covid reflexion, our desire to leave Paris and find in Cordes a more balanced rythm of life.

Before becoming their family home in 1959, this site was for many years the village presbytery.

Germaine and her husband Jacques undertook major renovations to the building in 1960 giving the house its charm and character.

In 2021 the children of Germaine inherited the house and undertook the total renovation of the medieval wing, situated in the street named rue Raymond VII, creating a mixed concept of a Salon de Thé, Boutique and Chambre d’Hôtes.

Today, we are delighted to be able to welcome you and share with you the tranquillity of the old presbytery and its leafy patio.

Pause Gourmande

01

‘Les Enfants de Germaine’ offers the atmosphere of a relaxed, welcoming tea room. Open from 9am to 7pm, you can enjoy delicious pastries, hot and cold drinks, ice creams, or even a breakfast before setting out on your day of discovery.

At lunchtime light meals are served beside the goldfish pond in the peaceful atmosphere of the leafy courtyard.

Les Enfants de Germaine is also a boutique concept that offers a small choice of second-hand objects, decoration and arts & crafts in tune with the season.

An invitation to a voyage of discovery and conversation in the heart of our tea room.

We hope we will also be able to present some art exhibitions in the year.
